Sondra Milkie has spent her career helping to elect progressive candidates up and down the ballot. She was born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin and earned dual BAs in Political Science and History from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. Her professional journey in politics began in 2008 on Barack Obama’s first presidential campaign. She went on to serve as the Training Director at Wisconsin Progress where she trained over 500 candidates and staff on campaign strategy from fundraising to direct voter contact. In 2020, Sondra served as Senator Amy Klobuchar’s Presidential Deputy State Director in New Hampshire, and in 2022 she was the Campaign Manager for Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul’s successful 2022 re-election campaign. Throughout her career she’s helped build and run nonprofit organizations, raise millions for progressive causes and candidates, and helped to create cutting-edge digital and direct mail advertising campaigns. Sondra is currently based in Washington DC but remains a proud Cheesehead and Wisconsin Badger. When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her dogs, eating dairy products, and learning Korean.
